BEFORE

AFTER

Piedmont Pennies Had A Great Product But Only One Flavor And One Package. The Existing Look Wasn't Scalable, Didn't Feel Premium Enough For Boutique Retail, And Wasn't Giving Buyers A Reason To Say Yes.

THE STARTING POINT

Piedmont Pennies had built a loyal following, but the packaging was holding the brand back. Buyers weren't immediately getting it. The look didn't stand out on shelf, and it didn't signal the premium quality of the product inside. With only one flavor and one package format, the brand had no room to grow. Becca knew the product deserved better, but the packaging wasn't telling that story.

THE CHALLENGE

We designed a packaging system built for where Piedmont Pennies was headed, not just where it was. We introduced gold foil elements across both pouch bags and gable boxes to elevate the premium feel and justify the price point. We added product storytelling through callouts and brand story copy, giving shoppers and buyers a reason to pick it up and understand what makes it special. Most importantly, we built a scalable design system that made flavor expansion seamless, turning a single-SKU brand into a full lineup ready for both retail shelves and high-end boutiques.

OUR APPROACH

What began as a single-product brand evolved into a platform for seasonal flavor expansion and broader retail growth through a packaging system designed to scale.
