Big Spoon Roasters partnered with us to redesign their growing line of e-commerce gift boxes into a cohesive packaging system that was as functional behind the scenes as it was beautiful in customers' hands. We developed a scalable packaging architecture spanning more than a dozen gift set SKUs, creating a premium visual system that improves fulfillment efficiency while delivering a polished gifting experience worthy of the brand.

As Big Spoon's assortment expanded, their existing gift boxes had become increasingly difficult for warehouse staff to distinguish during packing. Multiple gift sets shared similar packaging, creating unnecessary friction in fulfillment and making the system difficult to scale. Rather than approaching each box as an individual design, we developed a packaging system built around a clear visual hierarchy and distinctive color strategy that allows employees to quickly identify the correct gift set at a glance.
The result is a collection of gift boxes that feels unmistakably Big Spoon—clean, bold, and premium—while solving real operational challenges behind the scenes. Each package maintains a consistent brand presence yet carries enough distinction to communicate its unique assortment, creating a more seamless experience for both warehouse teams and customers. The system is flexible enough to support seasonal releases, new gift configurations, and future product expansions without sacrificing consistency or recognition.
