We developed a modern, cohesive design that enhances shelf impact, improves clarity, and communicates the brand’s quality and Southern charm at a glance—positioning the product for stronger retail performance.

As the brand prepared to grow its retail footprint, the opportunity was to refine—not reinvent—the existing identity. Our approach focused on strengthening what made Piedmont Pennies unique while improving how it showed up on shelf. We introduced a bold, color-coded system to differentiate flavors and improve navigation, alongside a more intentional visual hierarchy that brings key product attributes to the forefront. Updated typography and layout created a cleaner, more contemporary look while preserving the warmth and personality of the brand.
High-impact product photography played a central role in the redesign, showcasing the crispy, golden texture of the biscuit bites and reinforcing their quality and craveability. The result is a cohesive packaging system that enhances recognition, improves shelf presence, and invites consumers into a product experience that feels both familiar and elevated—helping Piedmont Pennies compete more confidently in a growing category.
