At the core of the redesign was the need for a packaging solution that balanced strong shelf presence with operational flexibility. We created a custom illustrated bag design that could remain consistent across the product line while allowing new blends to launch quickly and efficiently through interchangeable flavor tag stickers. This modular approach gave the brand the freedom to experiment with seasonal and small-batch coffees without the expense and complexity of producing entirely new packaging for every SKU. The result is a cohesive family of products that feels artisanal yet elevated, with a packaging system built to grow alongside the business.

Beyond packaging, the project expanded into a broader brand experience across the Virgin Islands Coffee Roasters café environment. We developed branded merchandise, in-store signage, and supporting visual elements that reinforced the refreshed identity throughout the physical space. From the café walls to retail displays and branded goods, every detail was designed to create a more immersive and memorable customer experience—one that captures the warmth, creativity, and island heritage at the heart of the brand while positioning Virgin Islands Coffee Roasters for continued growth.
