FROM CONCEPT

TO SHELF

My Better Batch Had A Great Product But No Brand. No Logo, No Packaging System, No Sales Materials. To Get On Shelf, Lindsay Needed More Than A Recipe. She Needed To Show Up Looking Like She Belonged.

THE STARTING POINT

My Better Batch was starting from zero. Lindsay had a clean-ingredient baking mix that tasted incredible, but there was no brand behind it yet. No logo, no packaging, no visual system, no sales materials. And in a category dominated by legacy players like Betty Crocker and Duncan Hines, a new brand doesn't get a second chance to make a first impression. She needed to walk into her first buyer meetings and food shows looking like a brand that already belonged on the shelf.

THE CHALLENGE

We built the entire brand from the ground up. Strategy first, then a logo and identity system designed to hold its own against national competitors. We created a packaging system with a clean aesthetic and clear messaging built to scale. Then we kept going: Shopify website, Amazon A+ content, sell sheets, trade show booth design, and merchandise. By the time My Better Batch showed up at its first food show, it didn't look like a startup. It looked like a brand buyers could trust. And within the first couple of years, Lindsay went from zero retailers to steady growth into new doors, show after show.

OUR APPROACH

Branding builds credibility. People buy with their eyes. It starts with the product looking like it belongs and being credible, and people looking at it and trusting that they should pick it up. Had we not looked bigger than we actually were, we wouldn’t have had the same opportunities.
